January Beading Classes
Due to poular demand we will be running our Essentials (Beginners) beading classes on:
Time: 10:30 to 12:30
Dates: Saturdays 10th, 17th, 31st January and 7th February
Due to Christmas closure and the limited number of places, students will need to book in before Christmas to confirm their place.
We do our classes differently here.
Most bead shops teach 'projects' and everyone does the same thing but in different colours. That's a very good way to make customers keep paying for more classes because they learn how to make a particular design, but not why they did it that way. What if they want to vary it by say, making it as a multiple strand? What finding do they use if they want to string it on leather instead of tigertail?
We believe in teaching 'techniques' because, really, there are only a few 'essential' techniques and once you understand these, everything else develops from there.
But we also understand that you like to attend classes where someone else has come up with an idea that you may not have thought about and has worked out all the kinks for you, so we have a range of project classes that you may attend after you have done the 'Essentials'.
