Bijou Beads and Design is located in Penshurst in the St George area of southern Sydney. The owner, Julie Sutherland, is a qualified gemmologist with 15 years experience designing, making and selling beaded jewellery.

As well as specialising  in interesting and unusual beads, findings, pearls and gemstones, Bijou Beads and Design also offers the following products and services:

• Classes in beading and wire-work  - we currently have about 20 different classes with new ideas constantly being developed
• PMC (Precious Metal Clay) classes
• PMC tools and supplies
• Dichroic glass classes (coming soon)
• Bead jewellery kits
• Finished jewellery
• Hand-crafted dichroic jewellery
• VIB (Very Important Beader) Club - members receive a 10% discount, email newsletters and can attend free UFO (UnFinished Objects) classes
• A jewellery repair/restringing service
• Made-to-order jewellery - just tell us what you want and we will design and quote for you.
• A fully-equipped PMC studio (tools, kiln etc) for hire or we can just fire your pieces for a small fee
